Computational Challenges in Firmware Implementation of Beamforming Techniques and Enhancement

Adaptive beamforming has been studied extensively from a simulation point of view. While existing works compare various techniques based on their output performance, emulation hardware systems and the prerequisite analysis firmware viability remain relatively unexplored. The work presented in this paper addresses two issues. One is implementation adaptive Hardware Description Language Least Mean Squares (LMS) Algorithm. It begins with development algorithm MATLAB Simulation Environment proceeds to synthesis Verilog code for same Xilinx’s Vivado platform. optimization LMS as detailed case study successful reduction number resources utilized by synthesized design target Artix-7 FPGA board.
